Information collected included demographics, cultural norms and practices of family planning in Enugu State, techniques that women employ in negotiating with their husbands for desired family sizes, differences in the coping strategies adopted by rural and urban women in achieving desired family sizes, and effectiveness of the coping strategies adopted by women. T- tests show statistically significant differences the effectiveness of the strategies adopted by rural and urban women. This book recommends the provision of a conducive environment that gives equal opportunity in all spheres of human endeavor, as well as instituting a systematic education for women and men on reproductive rights.
