Dadurch ergeben sich neue Perspektiven für den Holzbau in der Schweiz. Holz, ein Baustoff mit hohen ökologischen und nachhaltigen Eigenschaften, hat die Chance, sein Potenzial nun auch im Bereich hochleistungsfähiger Bauweisen und Konstruktionen unter Beweis zu stellen. Die dazu notwendigen Erfahrungen im Segment des mehrgeschossigen Holzbaus konnten in den letzten Jahren in ausreichendem Masse aufgebaut werden. Im Hochhausbau fehlt diese Expertise aber weitestgehend. Aktuelle Hochhausprojekte in Holzhybridbauweise in- und ausserhalb der Schweiz sind meist Leuchtturmprojekte.
