Añadir al carritoPaperback. Condición: New. Strategies for engaging key stakeholders-evaluators, researchers, and designers-to discuss frameworks for promoting collaborative change. Collaborative Change Research, Evaluation, and Design (CCRED) is a framework and collection of participatory practices that engage people and the systems around them to drive community outcomes. This framework emerged out of the recognition that deep participation (or engagement) is frequently missing in collaborative impact approaches. When collaborative change is implemented effectively, community members are viewed as valuable owners and experts instead of being seen as disinterested or unqualified partners. CCRED is a social action process with dual goals of collective empowerment and the deepening of social knowledge. Executed successfully, CCRED has the potential to increase the rigor, reach, and relevance of research, evaluation, and design translated to meaningful action. Written in an easily accessible, narrative style, Working Together for Change, the fourth volume in the Interdisciplinary Community Engaged Research for Health series edited by Farrah Jacquez and Lela Svedin brings together evaluators, researchers, and designers to describe collaborative change by describing their own work in the space.

Some slight edge wear to top and bottom of jacket and spine, corners slightly bruised, not price clipped (45/-), no inscriptions, internally clean tight and square, overall a vg+ copy for its age. 270pp, illustrated. Sir John Aspinall (1851-1937, 'of the L&Y') was part of the railway scene from 1868 till 1936 although strictly speaking the 'Aspinall Era' ran only from 1882 till 1919. During those years he led first the Great Southern & Western Railway and then the Lancashire & Yorkshire. A gifted railwayman, and a close friend of H.A.Ivatt, his era marked high achievements in engines, operating, and management during the spacious days before Grouping. Naturally Aspinall had numerous contacts with other railway engineers and these famous contemporaries and sparring partners are seldom off stage, the reader meets them in the Works, in the Board Room, at meetings of the Association of Railway Locomotive Engineers, and less formally in casual meetings and anecdotes. The results of their efforts are shown in 170 photographs, engravings and drawings, fully indexed. The text is in chronological order, and the main settings are Crewe, Inchicore, Horwiich, Manchester and London. By railway author and film maker H. A. V. Bulleid (1912-2009).
