These were drawn by various artists, the most famous of whom was Leslie Ward who used the 'nom de crayon' of "Spy". This portrait will come mounted/matted and ready to frame using archivist quality materials, mount size 18 x 12 inches, 47 x 31 cms. It will be presented in a cellophane wrapper with our label guaranteeing authenticity. We pack very well, between sheets of hardboard. This is an excellent opportunity to purchase a portrait of Sir John Hay, Bart, MP, with the caption ''THe retired list'' with a one page biographical sheet. Sir John Charles Dalrymple-Hay, 3rd Baronet (11 February 1821 - 28 January 1912) was a British Admiral and politician. He succeeded to the Baronetcy on 19 March 1861 and was made a Privy Counsellor in 1874.
