This tribute was written in 1945 by Samuel's son, Frank (Samuel) Herbert (1893-1959), poet, writer and academician. Bethan…y School was founded by Samuel's father. Whether this particular version, of which a copy is offered for sale, was itself published in 1945 is arguably unlikely but the tribute itself most assuredly was (printed and dated "F.H.K. August 1945" at the conclusion thereof). A few, generally light, marks on front cover and a mark on the inside front cover.
