Die Methode del' klassischen Morphologie, mit Hilfe von Bauplanforschung und Ver gleich Struktureigentiimlichkeiten und Entwicklungsgesetze zu erkennen, wird auch heute noch mit besonderem Erfolg auf dem Gebiet der Ge schwulstforschung angewandt; in erster Linie deshalb, wei 1 es noch immer zahlreiche Neubildungen gibt, deren Histogenese und Stellung im Gesamtsystem strittig sind, womit im allgemeinen auch ihre diagnostische Bewertung auf Schwierigkeiten stoBt. Hierher gehoren eine Reihe von Tumoren, die entweder, wie die Synovialome, von den Gelenkkapseln und Schleimbeuteln oder, nach Art del' gutartigen xanthosen Riesenzellgeschwiilste, von Bestandteilen del' Sehnen und ihrer HiiIlen abgeleitet werden. Sowohl del' histologische Bau als auch das biologische Verhalten aller diesel' Geschwiilste sind auf den ersten Blick recht unterschiedlich. Es ist nun das eigentliche Anliegen diesel' sorgfaltigen und auf ein groBes Material gegriindeten (63 Falle!) Studie, alle derartigen Gewachse zusammenzufassen und mittels einer subtilengestaltlichen und histochemischen Analyse ihregemeinsame Her kunft aus derSynovialis und dem sie umgebenden Mesenchym zu bewei sen, womit sich zugleich die Benennung del' Gesamtgruppe als 'Synovia lome' anbietet. Die Methode del' klassischen Morphologie, mit Hilfe von Bauplanforschung und Ver gleich Struktureigentiimlichkeiten und Entwicklungsgesetze zu erkennen, wird auch heute noch mit besonderem Erfolg auf dem Gebiet der Ge schwulstforschung angewandt; in erster Linie deshalb, wei 1 es noch immer zahlreiche Neubildungen gibt, deren Histogenese und Stellung im Gesamtsystem strittig sind, womit im allgemeinen auch ihre diagnostische Bewertung auf Schwierigkeiten stoBt. Hierher gehoren eine Reihe von Tumoren, die entweder, wie die Synovialome, von den Gelenkkapseln und Schleimbeuteln oder, nach Art del' gutartigen xanthosen Riesenzellgeschwiilste, von Bestandteilen del' Sehnen und ihrer HiiIlen abgeleitet werden. Sowohl del' histologische Bau als auch das biologische Verhalten aller diesel' Geschwiilste sind auf den ersten Blick recht unterschiedlich. Es ist nun das eigentliche Anliegen diesel' sorgfaltigen und auf ein groBes Material gegriindeten (63 Falle!) Studie, alle derartigen Gewachse zusammenzufassen und mittels einer subtilengestaltlichen und histochemischen Analyse ihregemeinsame Her kunft aus derSynovialis und dem sie umgebenden Mesenchym zu bewei sen, womit sich zugleich die Benennung del' Gesamtgruppe als 'Synovia lome' anbietet. Damit ergeben sich eine durchgangige brauchbare Gliede rung sowie Kriterien flir die praktische Beurteilung einschlagiger FaIle. Del' groBe Umfang des vorgelegten Materials und die vollkommene Beherr schung der Methodik bieten die Gewahr flir eine liickenlose und objek tive Darstellung, unter Beriicksichtigung auch seltenerer Spielarten. 168 pp. Deutsch.
