Scattered soiling and chipping to the edges of the wraps, some are split along the spine folds, a few issues lack the rear wrap, very good. A nice collection of Harper's weekly children's magazine, celebrated for publishing the work of America's best illustrators and writers of young adult fiction. Included in this set are the first printed appearances of: "The Three Fortunes" and "The Princess on the Glass Hill," written and illustrated by Howard Pyle, "Five Shares in the Fresh-Air Fund" by James Otis, Rosina Emmet Sherwood's illustrations of "Von Nipkin's Defeat" by Boudinot Colt, and W.A.
