Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book delves into the history of one of the four oldest and most prestigious legal societies in England, from its humble beginnings to its establishment in the sixteenth century. The author traces the society's origins to the medieval era, when groups of lawyers began to form loose associations outside the walls of London. Over time, these associations coalesced into four distinct Inns of Court, including the subject of this book. Through meticulous research into the society's archives, the author unearths fascinating details about its early members, their customs, and the development of their educational system. This book not only sheds light on the origins of the legal profession in England but also provides valuable insights into the social and intellectual life of the period. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.…
