Es wird eine kurze Szene im Jerusalemer Tempel berichtet, in der…Jesus die Opfergabe von einigen Reichen sowie einer Witwe beobachtet und anschließend bekannt gibt, die Witwe habe mehr gegeben als die anderen, da sie nicht nur einen Teil ihres Überflusses, sondern ihren gesamten Lebensunterhalt gab. Der Text reizt mich besonders, da er schon beim ersten Lesen einige Auffälligkeiten zeigt. So stellt sich mir beispielsweise die Frage, warum Jesus Christus die Witwe verteidigt, zumindest scheint es so, obwohl sie ja von niemandem angegriffen wurde. Scheinbar unaufgefordert und ohne Grund nimmt er diese Begebenheit der Opfergabe der Witwe als Anlass, um ein Lob der Witwe gegenüber, jedoch nicht an sie direkt gerichtet, auszusprechen. Beim ersten Lesen merkte ich, dass ich recht schnell davon ausging, es handele sich um einen Tadel des Verhaltens der Reichen. Erst beim zweiten Lesen des Textes fiel mir auf, dass tatsächlich nicht dieses Verhalten gerügt, sondern das der Witwe als besonders lobenswert hervorgehoben wird. Diejenige, die am wenigsten gibt und am Rande der Gesellschaft steht, wird in ihrer Handlung betont. Diese Antithetik reizt mich, mir diese Perikope genauer anzuschauen und mich intensiv mit ihr auseinanderzusetzen. 36 pp. Deutsch.
