The paper is age toned but not brittle, the condition for ephemeral nature is overall excellent VG mostly with woodcut drawings throughout with either one or more per page. Each magazine is uniform in size and each measures larger in height than a daily tabloid. **The two main serialised stories are not available in any other format but both are major contributions in their respective fields with the Nelson Lee detective only being introduced by this writer in 1894 and continued after 1915 by many other writers inc Edwy Searles. This story does not appear as a hardback or in any other magazine. The story of the race to the North Pole by Sidney Drew has lost races and hidden lands, a flying vessel owned by the Americans and in a race against the British in their super-sub.
