Containing numerous illustrated advertisements, including one for the "Robinson Crusoe Hotel," which features a woodcut of Crusoe in a fur outfit and sun hat. Skillfully rebacked in leather with most of the backstrip laid down. Boards are generally rubbing. Binding is solid. Contents are generally but lightly rippled and toned with occasional light tidelines. Folding table is in fairly good condition but for some misfolding and a few closed tears; the paper remains supple. Very good condition. Spear, p. 282. Drake 11766. Interesting 19th century advts. including one for the Independence Hotel on Chestnut with terms for accommodations and meal offerings.
