Taschenbuch. Condición: Neu. Neuware - Histoire De L'art De La Guerre Avant L'usage De La Poudre. offers a detailed exploration of military arts and sciences prior to the introduction of gunpowder. Authored by Nicolas Edouard Delabarre-Duparcq and Luigi Blanch, this historical account delves into the strategies, tactics, and technologies employed in warfare before the widespread use of firearms. The book provides valuable insights into the evolution of military thought and practice, examining the diverse approaches to combat across different cultures and time periods. From ancient civilizations to the medieval era, the authors meticulously analyze the art of war, shedding light on the leadership, logistics, and weaponry that shaped the outcomes of battles. This work is a significant resource for military historians, students of classical warfare, and anyone interested in the development of strategic thinking. DELABARRE C.F. The life and work of Edouard Chassaignac, p. 530: "The first point which Chassaignac studied was the angle of the body and neck of the femur; Chassaignac divides them , according to the line of fracture, into intracapsulary and extra capsulary, a division which remained.";Carter & DeBakey: Current observations on war wounds of the chest, J Thorac Surg.(1944): "( treatment of hemothorax) the procedure of injecting air was suggested by Chassaignac in 1835."). 5.
