Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book delves into the remarkable life and multifaceted career of Francesco Marcolini, an Italian artist and publisher who made significant contributions to the arts during the 15th and 16th centuries. The book explores Marcolini's influence on the cultural landscape of Venice, where he established a reputable printing house and became a central figure in artistic and intellectual circles. By delving into Marcolini's designs, engravings, and architectural projects, this book offers a comprehensive portrait of a creative pioneer whose legacy continues to resonate in the history of art and publishing. Añadir al carritoFirst and only edition of this extremely rare bibliography of books printed by Francesco Marcolini da Forli. 91 pp + leaf of errata and additions (this leaf is often missing). A well-documented bibliographical notice by Raffaele de Minicis (40 pp., 89 footnotes), is followed by an extensive bibliography (51 pp.), in which dozens of editions are described in great detail. THIS IS APPARENTLY THE AUTHOR'S PERSONAL COPY: there are about 30 marginal notes and corrections, sometimes quite extensive, with proofreading marks, in a contemporary hand. In some of these notes the annotator refers to specific observations in the printed text as his own. Printed on good wove paper. 8vo. Attractively bound in recent cloth, original wraps bound in. Binding fine. Some light internal spotting, else clean. Bigmore & Wyman III, 109. A very good copy of a most unusual book.…

Añadir al carritoCondición: molto buono. In-8 (17x11,4), ff. Il presente esemplare è sicuramente quello in questione, appartenuto, appunto, all'Avv. Bell'esemplare, fresco e marginoso. Book.…
