Not an ex-library copy, this approximately 6 3/8" X 8", 58-year-old, 18-page offering is in G condition. In overall still sound physical shape, there is some yellowing of text's pages, the original(?) young owner's name is written, in firm pencil, in the proper spot on the inside of the front cover board, and, FINALLY, the "coated film" which is/was used to erase the "magic slate" is extremely brittle, so much so that if you just look at it in a threatening manner, or any manner whatever, it breaks off in little pieces/strips! At age 58, I'd have been shocked and surprised if such was not the case regarding the slate's "eraser". From reverse side of front cover, "Magic Slate--story book activities [featuring] three wonderful, exciting ways to play--all in one book. .Because ancient Israel looked so different from modern America, children sometimes think of it as a storybook land, instead of a real place.
