Shelfworn with rubbing to the spine and each board. The spine and front board's gilt slightly…fading. The heavy rubbing to the rear board shows white and gray splotches all over; rear board additionally scratched. Endpapers tanned. Spine broken at the title page and rear hinge cracking. The remainder of the interior fairly nice, though beginning to tone. Inquire if you need further information.

Engravers, printers, pattern card - New Market Lane, Manchester" on sign being carried on shore. 2. after "Robert Fulton's Steamboat 'Clermont' 1813" - Some sources give the original as French circa 1830-1835 however artist is undetermined 3. after "South Street from Maiden Lane, New York, in 1828" by William James Bennett (American, London 17871844)- McKibbin & Gayley Grocers - Ship named Leeds 4. St. Mark's Church, "New York" as it appeared in the 1830s - original artist unknown. * Each: Paper size 11" wide x 7" tall * Mounted on paper 14" x 11" - hinged at top - a few scattered fox spots on mounting papers. * Not matted and not framed * Very good condition.
