As a young boy growing up in the 1980's on the Mornington Peninsula he lived with his parents and other siblings in a small house in Tootgarook. That's how l got my nick name "Excuse me" for my politeness asking my neighbours for there leftover bottles so l could make 20 cents per bottle. I would even go along with my mum to the bingo hall and ask the ladies for their leftover bottles at the end of the session.
