Paperback. Condición: new. Paperback. One day, Laura met The Muse - an energetic portal into a rich seam of age-old wisdom that is deeply relevant to our lives today. Messages began to come forth through Laura, and a collection of stories gathered, wanting to be shared - As the Birds Land was born. The stories in this book centre around the energy of the 1570s near the river Thames in West London - a time and place that somewhat birthed modern-day capitalism, gave rise to the energy of patriarchy, and contributed to the death of alchemy. They speak of many things - the intelligence of the land and the wisdom of the body, the dogmatic aspect of religion, the oppressive nature of political systems, unhealthy masculine energy, abuse of power, misuse of wealth, and the fear of the deep and ancient intuition that runs through all of life. They are stories of what happened then, what was seen, heard and known. Stories of what was silenced, why and how. The questions that mattered then, matter now. So much has changed, and in many ways nothing has. These pieces invite us to tap in, to what is already known deep down - to continue finding our voices and taking action for better balance in a world that needs it now more than ever. So, though this is ancient, poetic, somewhat mystical work it is actually a deep contemporary call to bring better balance to the way we lead and live today, so we can live more freely and leave a better world for those that come after us too. 'It's the birds I'm most drawn to at the moment. They've told me they are the keepers of the magic that was split from the witches when they were forced inside and made to take human form. They are looking for a place to land.' The birds are landing. A new day is dawning. And this collection from Laura and The Muse can be a companion to guide your place in that. Please use it well. (*The stories contained in this book refer to topics that some readers may find triggering. Please take care as you navigate your way and seek support as required). Laura is a systemic coach, guide, and seer - working with people all over the world in big business and beyond to awaken consciousness, not just around the boardroom table but around the dining table too. Laura's clients often describe her as a witch, who brings her psychic and intuitive gifts to her work. She knows how to channel energy including that of spirit, to support and enable systemic flow - and As the Birds Land is a testament to that. The Muse is more an energy or archetype than specific person. It seems 'she' opens a gateway into a different time, so that people like Laura can access ancient wisdom, and bring it forth for us all to use to good effect today. This item is printed on demand.
