Es zwingt Psychotherapeuten unter Androhung des Berufsverbots, in ihren Aussendungen zu verheimlichen, wenn sie auch transpersonale Verfahren, zum Beispiel schamanische Heilarbeit, anwenden, weil diese nicht wissenschaftlich seien. Dabei, so Thalhamer, sollte ein Kunde oder Patient wissen, dass er es mit einem Psychotherapeuten zu tun hat, der auch spirituelle Methoden schätzt. Manche kommen genau aus diesem Grund zu ihm, andere genau aus diesem Grund nicht.
