About The Author: Alka Parikh, PhD in Development Economics from Cornell University , USA, is working as an Associate Professor at D.A. Institute of Information and Communication T echnology (DAIICT). In addition to this book, she has also conducted a detailed field study in Maharashtra on food security situation, and some small surveys on the issue. She has also documented some experiments to address the food security. Alka Parikh has experience of working with academic, corporate and NGO sectors.
