Condición: New. Idioma/Language: Inglés. Encuadernación: rústica In this book, for the first time in world scientific literature, the category of "force" is presented as an attribute of matter alongside motion, space, and time. This enabled the author to develop a different approach to solving the problem of the Big Bang, give a… new formulation of the border between life and the inorganic world, and offer his own interpretation in the disputes on the mind-body problem. The category of "ontological force" formulated by the author has allowed him to develop a new definition of the concept of progress, which creates a methodological basis for fruitful research in the fields of the social sciences and international relations. This book is intended for instructors and students of philosophy and the natural sciences, as well as for all those interested in the problems of the universe, life, and man. Alex Battler, a Canadian citizen of Russian origin who resides in France (Paris), is a doctor of historical science and a full member of the Military Academy of Science of the Russian Federation. He worked for many years as a professor of political science, economics, and international relations in many Russian schools of higher education (in Moscow and Vladivostok). He has published about 300 books and articles worldwide (mostly in Russia). These include twenty individually written books and contributions to more than twenty collective monographs. In recent years, he has been tackling philosophy and sociology. *** Nota: Los envíos a España peninsular, Baleares y Canarias se realizan a través de mensajería urgente. Taschenbuch. Condición: Neu. Neuware - The third edition of Dialectics of Force: Ontobia presents Alex Battler's reconceptualization of Force as a fundamental category of being. Drawing on a wide range of sources-from Pre-Socratic philosophy and Aristotle through Hegel, Schelling, and twentieth-century physicists and cosmologist…s-the author traces how the concept of Force has been understood throughout the history of Western thought and proposes a unified theoretical framework grounded in the concept of Ontological Force, or Ontóbia. The author argues that Ontóbia constitutes the fourth fundamental attribute of matter, alongside motion, space, and time, and demonstrates its application across several domains: Big Bang cosmology, the boundary between organic and inorganic phenomena, the mind-body problem, and the methodological foundations of historical progress and the social sciences. The book is addressed to scholars and graduate students in philosophy, the natural sciences, and the social sciences, as well as to readers interested in the foundational questions of matter, life, mind, and progress.
