BOOKPLATE: The front pastedown contains the bookplate of [Major] Clive Behrens (1871-1935), a member of the British Royal Legion and listed as a Breeder in The Hunter Stud Book, Vol. IX, 1921. Perhaps his most noteworthy accomplishment was his marriage to (Charlotte) Evelina Rothschild in 1899.
