Appendices include the nicknames of Folkestone Men, Notable Catches, species of fish and shellfish caught locally, Selling the Fish and Fish Merchants, Local References from history books, town guides and newspapers, Dialect Words, Sail Makers, The Folkestone Boats (by registration from FE.1 to FE.369 with their original names) and a Glossary and bibliography.
