The Bishop requests that special prayers be offered for the safe deliverance of the Pontiff. This particular copy of the mandement, which is signed by P.F.Turgeon, secretary to Bishop Plessis, is addressed to Monseigneur Marchand, missionary in Sandwich, Upper Canada. No references located.
