Añadir al carritoCondición: As New. NP128 This is a superb opportunity to secure this limited edition collectors postcard of the Falklands War published shortly after the conclusion of the conflict to commemorate the events. This postcard depicts an Argentine heavy artillery unit preparing a self-propelled gun, such as an AMX-13 VCA or similar armored artillery vehicle, for a firing mission. The view captures the military crew working urgently to load ammunition and calibrate the weapon system to defend their garrisoned positions against the advancing British forces. Set against the bleak, marshy, and open terrain of the islands, the scene provides a rare glimpse into the heavy hardware and defensive operations deployed by the occupying military forces. It is unused and in absolute mint condition.…

Taschenbuch. Condición: Neu. Neuware - In 1930, Bob Brown predicted that the printed book was bound for obsolescence. The time has come, he insisted, to rid the reader of the cumbersome book. He invented a machine that would allow one to read books and any text extremely fast and in a hyper abbreviated form. He called these abbreviated texts, with em dashes replacing words: readies. He envisioned sending the condensed texts through wireless networks. The Readies, describes these eponymously named abbreviated texts and his plans for a reading machine, but since he printed only 150 copies, the volume is practically unknown outside of a small circle of scholars. With this new edition, Craig Saper hopes to introduce Bob Brown's Roving Eye Press books to a new generation of readers.…
