No Jacket. medium brown leather covers and spine, front cover is not attached but is present, back and front covers are blank, spine is darker brown leather with Kirkham's Grammar in gilt lettering and 6 sets of double horizontal lines also in gilt, light shelf wear, small portion of the top and bottom of the spine are missing, pages are sewn and are printed on linen rag paper so that the type shows from the opposite side of the paper, crack between pages 168 ad 169, various writings in the end sheets in ink and in pencil, ink blots on some pages, at the fronts piece a large folding sheet of paper is attached as a certificate, this projects outside of the book pages, all page edges are lightly soiled, the pages are browned with age and there is foxing on many of the pages. I hope I look so good when I am 190 years old.Portion of the spine with the title is loose but present.Portionof the back end page has been torn away.
