Taschenbuch. Condición: Neu. Neuware - Erasmus Montanus, eller Rasmus Berg, written by Ludvig Holberg, is a classic of Danish literature. This satirical comedy tells the story of Rasmus Berg, a young man who, after studying in Copenhagen, returns to his rural village as the self-proclaimed scholar Erasmus Montanus. Filled with intellectual arrogance and an inflated sense of his own importance, he attempts to impress his family and neighbors with his newfound knowledge, leading to humorous misunderstandings and social clashes. Holberg's play offers a sharp critique of pedantry and the uncritical acceptance of academic authority. Through witty dialogue and memorable characters, 'Erasmus Montanus' explores themes of social climbing, the conflict between tradition and progress, and the importance of common sense. This enduring work remains relevant for its insightful commentary on human nature and the follies of intellectual pretension. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it. Brossura.
