The first three are piano pieces exploring unusual time signatures, 15/8, 17/8, and 5/4. They are followed by two brief attempts at the prelude and fugue form. Likewise, there are two harpsichord pieces in the minuet and trio pattern, though all the items are only loosely based on their various forms. The next two works are variations on a theme and the collection ends with two organ voluntaries, written for use in the parishes where I worked. In spite of their experimental nature, these pieces have been reworked over the years and are both challenging and interesting, in their present form, to performer and audience.
