Taschenbuch. Condición: Neu. Neuware - My name is Beverly Mitchell, a social worker attached to the U.S. Veterans 51st State Administration in New Britain since 2098. My primary task was to look after the many people marooned in the countryside outside of what used to be Bristol. It was a very dangerous area with many wild Boars, Dog packs and Feral humans, who would kill you as soon as look at you. I had to be accompanied by two armed U.S. Marine bodyguards at all times. One day I came upon my most fascinating client; a little old man tapping away at his laptop in a well kept garden in the dilapidated suburban wilderness. Brizzle was his name and he told me many fascinating tales of his years with 'The Last Warriors of Albion'. At first I though he was 'spinning a tale' to humour me, because everyone knows that the 'Warriors' were only a folk tale. If he was telling me the truth, he would have been 109 years-old!But he was old and after he passed away I picked up his laptop, then read his astounding tales of 'The Woman in White' and of his companions, Porky, Sir Peter, Biker Bill and Little Tom'.At first, the many tales I found on the laptop, I distilled into three novels, now receiving much comment because the legend of 'The Last Warriors of Albion' is still very strong in New Britain in 2103.However, there was more on the ancient computer, tales of 'The Old British' that, as legend would have it, were always at their best with their backs to the wall. These were tales of lives nearly forgotten until I read of them, hence this fourth volume, 'The Forgotten'.
