Molds and copies of the fingerprints were developed using silicone, and then tests A, B and C were carried out (on three optical biometric readers from different brands, each of which has its own system): Biometric readers A and C were vulnerable to the tests carried out with the silicone finger. From the results obtained, it can be seen that, despite being a promising technology, it will only become secure after the development of systems that allow the identification of people who are present when the fingerprint is read.…
