Several studies have examined the value of learning this technique through procedural simulation. Evaluation is a cornerstone in the success and evolution of simulation in the medical field. The Kirkpatrick model continues to be a popular and widely used evaluation strategy, due to its simplicity and relevance to different sectors and organizations. In this work, we propose to use the Kirkpatrick model to:- Evaluate lumbar puncture training, using simulation sessions as a learning method. The study involved a sample of 20 students in the first year of the second cycle of medical studies. It consisted of a half-hour theoretical session and a one-hour practical workshop on a low-fidelity mannequin.
