The agents which cause deterioration in paper are broadly classified as biological agents, physical agents and chemical agents. Functional paper must have durability (permanence paper). Most permanence papers are made from cotton or mixed with linter fibers for obtaining strength and durability. In this book I will focus on presenting approaches for enhancing the durability of paper sheets and accept it valuable properties, e.g., enhancing the forgery test for reappearing the writing in burnt documents. 52 pp. Englisch.
