Since, the due date based scheduling is the primary objective of any shop floor environment, the influence of critical machine(s) on time is to be studied. Therefore, this research focuses towards the study on impact of critical resources/machines for due date based scheduling. In order to accomplish this, the due date is assumed as lower bound and three corollaries are developed based on the objective of minimizing makespan from/to the lower bound. 192 pp. Englisch.
