There were twenty peat sampling site were investigated in this study at Parit Botak area, Batu Pahat, Johor Darul Takzim, Malaysia but the soil samples were collected from three various locations which is Parit Haji Ali, Parit Nipah and Parit Lapis Kadir. The parameters observed for the peat soil was shear strength, the moisture content, liquid limit, as well as shear wave velocity. The outcome of this study potential may contribute toward the selective properties of particular soil on order to support a specific infrastructure and construction. 228 pp. Englisch.
