Further, the study brings out the possible implications from vehicular air pollutants on local environment and human health effects. It was revealed that an urban air pollutant has exceeded the limit of proposed Ambient UK Air Quality Standard. The study recommends to the local authorities to use economic pricing and taxation, local transport plan targets & solutions approach and land use & transport integration management tools to reduce transport pollution of Sheffield city. 104 pp. Englisch.
