The effect of various process variables as Stirring Speed, Needle size, Dropping distance, Medium for gelation, Gelation time as well as formulation variables were studied. Prepared microbeads were evaluated for micromeritic properties, percentage microbeads yield, percent floating capacity, percent drug entrapment efficiency and percent drug release.
