Large-scale shell model calculations have been performed to study the low-lying energy levels for light and light halo nuclei. The calculations have been performed using the recent shell model code. The theoretical results and calculations for both no-core with three restrictions and with closed core taken at 4He with ckpot effective interaction were compared with the most recent available experimental data. A satisfactory results were obtained from this comparison and the author have concluded that for each nucleus. The results show that there is an adequate restriction which is able to predict the experimental data.
