The explosive growth of computer power over the last few decades, and the advancement of computational methods, have enabled the applicationofcomputationalapproachestoanever-increasingsetofproblems. One of the most challenging problems to treat computationally in the discipline of Computational Fluid Dynamics is that of turbulent uid ow.
