The study found a significant correlation between education of the female and knowledge regarding food safety on Phi test, Cramer's V test, Pearson's R and Spearman Correlation. Moreover, a significant correlation was found between education of the female, occupation of the female, family's monthly income and self-reported behavior regarding food safety on chi-square test for independence. Our results confirm the need for ongoing educational initiatives to improve the relatively low food safety awareness among reproductive age women.
