The major insect pests i.e. sucking pests and BSFB caused yield loss of 59.01 per cent. Brinjal shoot and fruit borer L. orbonalis occupied average life cycle of 34.45 days and exhibited rm of 0.106 female/female/day in three generations. All NBt, brinjal hybrids did not show significant variation in incidence of sucking pests.
