Firstly, the research was initiated with a literature survey.Secondly,a survey approach was implemented whereby two rounds of questionnaires were distributed and semi-structured interviews were conducted among construction professionals with more than ten years of experience. Results on questionnaires revealed the problems related to ADR methods used by construction industry and at the said Act. Further,it presented potential solutions to overcome those problems.Additionally, recommendations to the part IX of the Act granted by interviews.Through these results,legal framework for an effective implementation of ADR methods under the Act was developed.
