The study explore the economics of carpooling with respect to the nature of participation. Data pertaining to the person and trip characteristics of the travelers is collected for student trip locations in vadodara district of gujarat state, india. The influence of socio-demographic variables like, age, occupation, household income, group size and household size on choice of travel mode is to studies using cross classification analysis. All these variables should be found causing a trend in the selection of travel modes. Objective of the study is focus on trip behavior of students by data acquisition. SPSS generate model, study suggests the major students are willing to utilize the public transport mode (like government Bus service). 104 pp. Englisch.…
