As a prominent Texas Democrat, Wright joined officials in welcoming President John F. Kennedy to Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963, riding in the presidential motorcade as it passed through Dealey Plaza. He was a passenger in the second congressman?s car, which was a white Ford Mercury Comet Caliente, provided by a local Dallas dealership. In so doing, he was witness to Kennedy's assassination, and was one of the last surviving members of the Kennedy motorcade. Wendy Davis is an American lawyer and politician from Fort Worth, Texas. A member of the Democratic Party, Davis represented the 10th district in the Texas Senate from 2009 to 2015. She ran for governor of Texas in 2014. Signed by Author.
