Forty adult albino rats were used in this study; MSCs of bone marrow origin were injected into the rat tail vein one day after a single dose of intra-peritoneal injection of cisplatin. Four weeks later, the kidney was examined morphologically, histopathologically and ultra-structurally. Renal functions (urea, creatinine) as well as serum electrolytes levels (Na, K) were estimated. Cisplatin produced marked histopathological changes in rat kidney and impaired renal functions however; MSCs ameliorated cisplatin-induced nephrotoxicity both functionally and structurally to a great extent. Choice of bonding agent and resin cement does not cause statistically significant difference in the temperature rise with the given light source. Sufficient time interval should be given between curing of bonding agents and curing of their corresponding resin cements. The rise of temperature in all the groups may not affect the pulpal health as they were well within the critical temperature of 5.5ºC. During the last couple of years, the need for protection of IP rights has rapidly increased. This book analyzes industrial property rights, particularly geographical indications via the wine sector of the Republic of Macedonia. We present the international trade and competitiveness in four wine-producing countries through calculation of the trade indicators issued by the OECD, in order to present geographical indications as a powerful marketing strategy for competitiveness. The analysis should help in better understanding of increased importance of IP rights in agri-food sector, especially for those that work on economic aspects of IP rights.
