Unlike other muco-cutaneous lesions Oral lichen Planus(OLP) is often chronic and rarely undergoes spontaneous remission which make knowledge of the disease more important for oral physicians and dental practitioners. The etiology is not known, but there are several hypothesis involving genetic, infectious, psychogenic and autoimmune factors. Biografía del autor

Dr. Nishant Kumar was born in Allahabad(India).After completing his graduation in Bachelor of Dental Surgery he has done his Masters in Oral Medicine and Radiology. He has also done Post Graduation diploma in Forensic Science.He was awarded as Most Appreciated PG student.He is currently practicing as an Oral Physician and Maxillofacial Radiologist.
