The upper board of this copy also features a pasted b&w photo of the former President in a pensive mood--i.e, with his chin on his closed hand. The as new contents reference the First Edition of the original Bulfinch Press edition. Laid in is an unused Easton Press bookplate. A close inspection from certain angles does reveal a faint scratch on the fore edge gilt, but this is minor.
