3. Autograph letter, in-8°, 1 pp, dated 3 may 1891. Written in French. The painter confirms that he will come to Mechelen to form part of the jury for the yearly Salon. He asks if there is museum in Mechelen because he probably has a little painting for it. The card confirms the shipping of a painting for the Salon exhibition.

Ze publiceerden elke 3 maanden een serie van 6 etsen (24 per jaar) in eeen zéér beperkte oplage (40 à 50 ?). De etsen werden ook los verkocht. Daardoor zijn jaaralbums praktisch onvindbaar. Ze golden als een zéér belangrijke stimulans voor de revival van de etskunst in Antwerpen die werd ingezet rond 1850 met figuren zoals Henri Leys.
