Herren Obristen Pfarrern, welche der uralten Statt . wie auch der Mutter-Kirchen Zürich vom Jahre 1519 bis auf 1679 vorgestanden", der Porträtfolge der Zürcher Bürgermeister und Antistes des Zürcher Malers und Kupferstechers Konrad Meyer (1618-1689). Das gestochene Brustbild zeigt den Zürcher Pfarrer Hans Kaspar Waser (1612-1677, Sohn Kaspar Wasers 1565-1625), der 1668 gegen seine inständige Bitte zum Antistes der Zürcher reformierten Kirche gewählt worden war. Das Porträt entstand vermutlich noch 1668, unmittelbar nach Wasers Ernennung zum Antistes am 25. Februar. Eine der Signatur vorangehende, gestochene persönliche Widmung Meyers an Waser "Curatori animae suae fidissimo hoc debiti amoris et absquij monumentum extare voluit" (Dem treuen Pfleger seiner Seele errichtet der Maler Conrad Meier dieses Denkmal in pflichtschuldiger Liebe und Gefolgschaft) zeugt von der nahen Bekanntschaft von Künstler und Porträtiertem. Nach Ausweis des Exemplars in der Zentralbibliothek Zürich (Sign. KK 2401, hs. Eintrag eines Bibliothekars) wurde dieses Blatt nicht von Konrad Meyer selbst, sonder von dessen Sohn Johannes gestochen. Vgl.
