This special edition includes a cloth folder with two prints: a silkscreen reproduction of an invitation card for a Laurence Dupré' fashion show (her 1987 collection) designed by Loulou Picasso - screen printed (6 colours) on A4 Aquarelle paper 300gr - signed by both Loulou and Laurence, and a rare photo printed on heavy duty fine art paper of Laurence Dupré and Throbbing Gristle from the iconic 1980 Camouflage photo session (done by Peter Christopherson) signed by Laurence When Throbbing Gristle donned their infamous camouflage uniforms in 1980 it became a pivotal statement for industrial and post-industrial fashion. Few of the countless imitators realised that those particular uniforms were custom-made and designed by their close ally Laurence Dupré. In true T.G. fashion expectations were confounded and a deeper level of importance literally hidden away from easy deciphering. This is an extensive overview of Laurence Dupré s early career raging from her DiY fashion zines of the late 70s/early 80s dealing with camouflage patterns and appliances, her collages for Sordide Sentimental, her meeting with Genesis P-Orridge in Hackney to her design worky not only for the TG uniforms, but also other aspects of the latter day TG image.

Vintage flyer advertising the release of the single "United" b/w "Zyklon B Zombie" by Throbbing Gristle. SIGNED and with a small drawing in red ink at the bottom right corner by Genesis P-Orridge as Genesis Breyer P-Orridge, thus likely post-1992. The debut single by the influential, experimental band, released as a 7-inch record in May 1978, and which quickly went to multiple pressings. An alternate version of "United" appears on the band's second album, "D.o.A: The Third and Final Report of Throbbing Gristle," released the following December. 13 x 8.5 inches. Original poster for a performance by COUM Transmissions held on February 18, 1975 at the Stedelijk Academy in Ghent, Belgium. The third in a series of five performances in the "Omissions" series, the previous two taking place that same month in Belgium and the final two in May and June in Germany. Scarce, with OCLC locating just a single copy. The brainchild of Genesis P-Orridge, COUM Transmissions was an influential and controversial performance art group. Using similar techniques as, and occasionally working with, experimental artists William Burroughs, Brion Gysin, and the FLUXUS collective, the group created confrontational exhibitions and happenings, frequently utilizing explicit nudity, bodily fluids, and other taboo material. The "Omissions" performances were very much in line with this aesthetic, with tour organizer Jean Paul van Bendegem describing them as "an exploration in the unusual of existing art-disciplines and a research in between these disciplines." 13.25 x 23 inches.
