Pär Gunnar Thelander [Swedish 1936 ] Print maker and painter, born in stockholm. He studied art at the ASrt Academy in 1955-1959 and at the Royal Academy of Arts , 1959-1964, before he continued his studies in Paris. He is best known for his print making. He has exhibited in, among other places, Uppsala, Stockholm, Oslo and at the Krognohuset in Lund; Liljevalch s art gallery besides exhibiting with the Grapgic Arts Society group shows which are held world wide. He also decorate the the T-station Aspudden in Hägersten, Stockholm, a Colorful geometric 3D shapes and penguin sculpture with box on belly. Thelander has won awards for his work at the World Print Exhibitions in 1966 and 1973; Graphica Creativa in 1984 and at the Biennale of Prints in 1991. His work can also be found in various museums world wide. Signed by Author(s).
