Finanz-Direktion unseres Kantons dem Kirchenvorstand mit: Es sei von der Kirchgemeinde Sins zu vernehmen, ob sie mit der Uebernahme des Patronatsrechtes der Pfarre Sins, namentlich mit der Aussteuerung durch das Kloster, [.] einverstanden sei." (etc.; p. 3). - Anhang: Bericht und Antrag von Pfarrer (Joseph) Meier, an die größere Commission (pp. 24-31). - Ad. 2: "Es liegt der Kirchgemeinde Sins ein Vertrag mit dem Kloster Engelberg zur Genehmigung vor. In diesem Vertrag tritt das Kloster an die Gemeinden Sins, Auw und Abtwil seine Patronats- und Collaturrechte ab und setzt zugleich für die Pfründen und Kirche von Sins und für die Pfrundhäuser eine angemessene Dotation aus." Tanner weist darauf hin, dass der Papst die Abtretung der Kollaturen nicht genehmigte, und dass diese Weigerung nicht auf Betreiben des Klosters zustande gekommen sei, mahnt jedoch: "Wir werden folgende Fragen stellen und beantworten: I. Welches sind die vom Kloster Engelberg in Sins erworbenen Patronats- und Eigenthumsrechte? II. Welches sind die mit dem erworbenen Patronatsrechte in Sins verbundenen Verbindlichkeiten? III. Welches sind die Anerbieten, welche das Kloster zur Ablösung dieser seiner Verbindlichkeiten macht?" (p. 4 f.) - Verhandelt wird um materielle Aspekte, zumal von der Gemeinde noch gewisse finanzielle Forderungen an das Kloster gerichtet wurden. "Während das Kloster alle seine Verpflichtungen [.] aus einem Theil seines Privatvermögens loskaufen muß, verliert das Kloster ohne alle Entschädigung alle seine bisher genossenen Rechte. Das ist doch gewiß ein sehr ungleicher Vertrag, die Rechte nehmen ohne jede Entschädigung und die Pflichten möglichst hoch aufschrauben." (p. 14 f.) -- Heinrich von Hünenberg trat das Patronatsrecht mit Kollatur der Pfarrkirche Sins "am 4. Dezember 1422 an das Kloster Engelberg ab. [.] Zwei Jahrhunderte lang (1633 bis 1849) betreute das Kloster Engelberg mit seinen Konventualen die Seelsorge in Sins. November 1910 in Lima (Peru), "Arzt, Professor der Chirurgie. Der Sohn des Aarauer Seminarrektors Jakob Suter besuchte zunächst in Winterthur die Schulen, von 1887 an in Aarau das Progymnasium, seit 1889 das Gymnasium, aus dessen vierter Klasse er 1892 austrat, um sich 1893 die Maturität in Neuenburg zu erwerben. Schon der Gymnasiast hatte Eifer und Geschick besonders für naturwissenschaftIich-anatomische Arbeiten und zugleich für die Erlernung fremder Sprachen gezeigt. Seinen medizinischen Hochschulstudien widmete sich Suter zuerst in Genf, wo ihn namentlich der Anatom Laskowsky gründlich schulte, darauf in Zürich, wo er hauptsächlich histo-anatomischen Studien unter Stöhr oblag, und in Basel, wohin ihn der Ruf des hervorragenden Chirurgen August Socin zog; Suter wurde bald dessen Unterassistent. Nach einem Studienaufenthalt in Florenz (1896/1897) beschloß Suter sein Medizinstudium 1898 in Basel mit dem Diplom (1900 Doktorat), übernahm dort 1899 die Stelle eines Bezirksarztes an der allgemeinen Poliklinik, zog aber schon 1900 als Mitglied der schweizerischen Rotkreuzexpedition nach Südafrika auf den Schauplatz des Burenkrieges. Nach der Rückkehr veröffentlichte Suter das über 300 Seiten zählende Buch Unter dem Schweizer Roten Kreuz im Burenkrieg, Leipzig 1901. An eine für Suters chirurgische Weiterbildung fruchtbare Tätigkeit als Volontärarzt der Chirurgischen Universitätsklinik in Prag (Mai bis August 1901) schloß sich eine Studienreise nach Paris und London und eine fast zweijährige Wirksamkeit an der Chirurgischen Klinik in Genf (1901/ 1903). Befriedigender als diese war die Arbeit als mehrjähriger Assistent und schließlich Stellvertreter von Professor Schloffer an der Chirurgischen Klinik in Innsbruck. Schwierigkeiten, die sich dort dem Betreten der akademischen Laufbahn entgegenstellten, bewogen Suter, den ein peruanischer Freund auf die einem tüchtigen Chirurgen in Peru sich bietenden Möglichkeiten hingewiesen hatte, dort hinzugehen. Im April 1908 kam er in Lima an und konnte sich rasch Ansehen und Geltung verschaffen, so daß ihm die Regierung von Peru im Sommer 1910 die neugeschaffene Professur für klinische Chirurgie an der Universität Lima anbot, die Suter mit Freuden annahm. Wenige Monate später riß ihn eine Herzlähmung kaum 37 jährig aus der verheißungsvollen Laufbahn als praktischer Arzt und vor allein Chirurg und als Wissenschaftler."
